It’s a little harder for us Canadians to get our favorite TV shows on the internet compared to our neighbours to the south but that doesn’t mean we don’t have some options when it comes to online tv. All major Canadian networks stream tv shows from there website. Below is a list of sites you can get your free tv fix on without having to do a lot of searching around.
CTV - Lots of Shows like The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Desperate Housewives, Fringe, Gossip Girl, Grey’s Anatomy, Lost
CTV HD – CTV also offers some shows in HD which is great but your limited to 3 shows since this is in beta.
Global – Global has a dozen of shows were you can watch full episodes like 90210, The Office, 24, Heroes, House, Bones, Days of our Lives
City TV – Watch a couple shows like Chuck and Ugly Betty
Now there are more places to stream online content from like the comedy network or discovery channel but most of these are owned by ctv so you can see all that stuff from there site.
Also sometime in the near future Canada should have access to view video from Hulu.com which has a ton of shows. But until then enjoy.

For all those users who have firefox already then all you got to do is do an update check. To do this “help / check for updates” and viola you have moved up to preview release. As for the Preview itself, it contains stability and JavaScript fixes, better support for Ogg-coded audio and video, and a few other efficiencies. The Release Candidate, meanwhile, is still slated for tomorrow, so this looks to be something like an almost-there nightly build.

It’s a great open-source office suite that features word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more. It’s a great alternative to the Microsoft Office.
